unfortunately, to get rid of the fat around your tummy, you will also lose some fat from your bottom half.
the best way to lose the fat is to do cardio. burn them calories- and you’ll lose the fat!
you need to consume less calories than you burn to lose the fat.
to help tone your bottom half, squats and lunges are the best way.

The key to tightening is strength training. This will tone your body and trim you down, but it won’t get rid of/drastically change the shape of your body by itself. The cardio is what helps with that. If you are looking to tone/trim the midsection, my suggestion would be to do a large variety of core strengthening exercises. Not just sit-ups, but all kinds. I can give you a huge list if you’d like, but your best option is to just research it and find the stuff you like to do. Any toning group fitness class will give you a good variety of things you can do at home in your own livingroom. Also, and I know you mentioned you don’t want to really do cardio, but you might look into a workout called turbojam or turbokick. It really really focuses on the core. A couple weeks of that and your midsectioni will definitely feel less flabby and more tight/compact.
If you would like a more specific list of core exercises, you can email me at oceaneyz02@yahoo.com or leave a comment on my blog:brandishealthyjourney.com. I will be more than happy to help you out.
