Girls – How Strong Are Your Legs?

Part one:
How much can you squat?
How much can you leg press (deep full press)?
How much can you leg curl?
I’ve noticed that the fit women in the gym have very strong legs relative to their body weight.
My GF has always been concerned with keeping fit. She was a dancer, goes to the gym regularly, does squats, leg press, leg curls, runs, bikes etc. Her legs are very toned with good muscular definition while maintaining a gorgeous feminine shape. Her legs are thicker and more muscular than mine, (they look great though) her upper body is toned but slim.
I never went to the gym much but worked out at home (bench press, curls etc) regularly. My leg work outs came from doing sports and jogging. I remember trying squats a few times but hated them (maybe because I did not have a squat rack). I had a couple of knee operations a few years ago and have been timid with load bearing leg exercises ever since. I have very good upper body strength but realize my lower body strength is now likely below average.
We knew her legs could over power mine in a leg wrestle match and she encouraged me to join her at the gym. My squat was poor compared to hers. At first I had to get used to 115lbs. Now I squat 155lbs for 6 or 7 reps but I am reluctant to push it in fear of the knees. She can still squat 40 pounds more then me for the same number of reps.
She is 5’8” 140 to 145lbs while I am 5’11” 185lbs.
Her work out buddy is also very fit and can squat 20lbs more than me. She is only about 5’6” 120lbs.
These two have very impressive strength to weight ratios in their legs.
Many of the fit looking women in the gym seem to have very good leg strength too.
Question for the Girls: Do you notice that many guys tend workout their upper bodies but don’t do much for their legs while it’s kind of the opposite with women?
Part two:
My GF admits to being really attracted to my upper torso. She thinks it is ripped (actually it’s more lean muscular than bulky) and likes being over powered by it. At the same time I know she really likes the fact that her legs are stronger than mine. She and her work out buddy both agree that having stronger legs than a guy with a ripped upper body is more gratifying than beating a guy with an average upper body.
Why would having stronger legs than a guy with a built upper body be more gratifying to most women?
They both think that arms, chest and shoulders are what matter on a guy and that legs are not so important (lucky for me).
Is this true for most women?
Is the look and strength of a guy’s upper body much more important to women?
Is this one reason why women seem to prefer guys in board shorts?
I know for me I like the entire body (nice legs, curvy, slim upper torso) on women.
I apologize for all the questions. Thanks for taking the time.

I have never tried squats.. I can press about 140 and I can curl about 85. I’m 5′8 and 146. I don’t know how great that is, but I just started about 2 months ago and my trainer said I had a pretty high starting point compared to most girls (who knows though, maybe they say that to everyone). I used to run alot and bike a lot in highschool, so i have very muscular legs… i stopped that about 5 years ago and only got into it again in the last couple months so I imagine it will be much higher in a few month. I personally prefer upperbody on guy as well…sorry, i can’t say much about comparing or whats more gratifying :P but upper body just looks good. Guys legs are all hairy and gross and girls have nicer legs anyways :P guys have upperbodies that girls can’t get.

Did you know that excess weight is not always due to excess fat? There can be a lot of extra weight just sitting around in your insides. The latest supplement can clean your insides and help you to reduce as much as 20 lbs, frequently from your waistline (show me a person who does not need to reduce some inches from their waistline LOL!!). There is a risk free trial available at http://kilesh.comparediet.info I’ve been taking it for two weeks now and it is definitely working!!
