What Is A Healthy Percentage Of Body Fat On An Average Female?

I recently purchased a new bathroom scale that measures your weight and tells you the percentage of body fat and water weight. does anyone know what these two measurements should be around for an average female?

    BMI (body mass index) .
People with a normal range would have a BMI of 20/30%
    of body fat.
Water weight should be about 60% of your total body weight.
    We are between 60-70% water!

there is no such thing as “average”
if you think you are fat – do this “pinch” test
between the thumb and forefinger, try to
grab some fat from your tummy or thighs
If this is more than 1/2 inch in thickness,
you have more fat than you need.
But .. before embarking on any exercise or
diet plan – consult your physician.

An average female should have between 18% and 32% body fat to be considered healthy.
If a woman is very athletic with a high muscle mass, her body fat may be as low as 12%-18%.
