In A Free Body Diagram/problem, When Does The Fn (normal Force) Equal The W (weight)?

In addition to there being no angle (so it is flat on the ground)… there is no vertical movement.

    i believe Fn=mg whenever there is no angle involved and the object is perfectly level in the ground. if there were an angle, then Fn woul equal mgcos? instead of just mg.
