What’s The Difference Between Men And Women Weight Watchers?

I’m thinking about joining weight watchers to lose a few lbs. I’m a male, but I’m transgendered, and I want a more feminine figure, not a masculine figure. I already have wide hip bones, but my upper body fat is kind of a problem. Would choosing women weight watchers make a difference?

There is no man or woman weight watchers its for everyone. Men as a rule tend to lose more body fat quicker than females so I don’t know if that helps you out… you can always sit in on a meeting before you decide and talk to someone there to find out if their program is for you.

I hope your in NYC! Or atleast a city where people are human and wont judge you. If your in NYC (hoping) The GLBT center at Astor Place has a weight watchers group JUST for the GLBT population. But to get to your actual question, If you eat more protein/fat you’ll only bulk your upper body more. Try on the weight watchers to stick to a closer vegetarian type meal as this will promote NATURAL estrogen in your body. Also, try drinking soy milk. Soy milk is estrogen rich. If your currently taking hormone pills legally, I suggest you talk to your doctor to help you even further. If your taking them illegally, try calling a gay center. In NYC’s Astor Place they’ll be able to give a great consult as doctors work there! Good luck, and its great to see someone brave enough about who they are, even if only on Yahoo Answers. Hope I helped if a little!-Danny
