Is This An Okay Weight For My Height And Body Type?

I’m 5′6”. I’m almost 17 years old. Female. I’m big boned and work out every day. I do pilates, treadclimber, and jog and have developed a good amount of muslce on my legs and arms. So I’m strong, and also I have big boobs, a D. I weigh 148lbs. Does that sound like an okay weight?

    By the way it sounds, you are an okay weight. At the same time, I’m no expert. But, also remember that by solely comparing weight and height, you can’t see whether or not you are a healthy weight. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you work out as much and as often as you say, then you have nothing to worry about. If you want a more accurate answer, you should take a visit to your doctor or a nutritionist who can tell you exactly where you stand when it comes to your weight.
    ~BTW: Big Boobs can also play a part in your weight as well~

    It sounds to me like you’re healthy. So, as long as you’re working out and watching what you eat, you’ll be ok.
    However, you’re still growing at 17, physically and mentally. Keep working out though. Even if your BMI (body mass index) is high, don’t be alarmed. The BMI standards in this country don’t take into account muscle weight, which weighs more than fat.
    So, for your height (according to BMI index) you may be overweight, but that doesn’t mean that you’re unhealthy and should lose weight. It just means that you’re muscular.

    It’s sounds a little on the overweight side but you definately don’t seem fat. Since you work out a lot you should be fine. I’m 5′5.5 and weigh 130 pounds. I feel huge and am trying to get down to 120. All I do is swim though. I don’t have a lot of muscle lol.

    Not bad but a D cup is going to cause you back problems in the future especially when you stop with the work outs. All that weight up front is going to mean trouble in the future.

    yeah dont worry about it your body mass index is 23 and that is completely normal. In fact it is right in the middle. Dont worry about it feel and good about yourself.

    there is no such thing as big-boned, everyones bone are the same size..if you lost 10 pounds that would be your ideal weight.

    yeah thats perfect as long as you are active you will always be healthy no matter your body type.

    sounds like a little muchh
    im 5′4 and weigh 125
    i also don’t have a tonn of muscle which could account for your extra pounds but i would reccommend more jogging, and not blaming the extra pounds on the boobs and big bones ;)
    you also should focus on your diet, and not the numbers
    just go by if you feel good and have balanced diet then you are good.
